Founded in 1937 and located in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon, Warner Pacific University is a Christ-centered, urban, liberal arts university dedicated to ensuring higher education is accessible and equitable for students from diverse backgrounds.
About
A college degree has never been more important.
It has also never been more expensive.
At WPU, our goal is to make education accessible to underserved, low-income, first-generation college students, creating long-term impact by introducing a whole new generation of leaders.
With your ongoing support, we will continue to educate and empower young leaders who have the experiences, curiosity, and collaborative spirit to renew and revitalize our society.
Ensuring higher education is one of the most important things we can do for future generations and it helps further social justice in an unequitable society.
Warner Pacific’s dedication to increasing diversity in higher education is apparent from the moment you step on campus, as 55% of our students come from racially and ethnically diverse backgrounds. Of course, diversity includes more than just race and ethnicity. Our commitment to innovating education has opened the door in important ways to many of our students, including more than 36% who are the first in their family to pursue a college degree.
We consider the rich diversity of our students, faculty, and staff a defining characteristic, an essential source of our institutional strength, and a stand to address social inequity. Equitable access to higher education can change the trajectory of an entire society.
WPU’s educational programs are just as diverse as our community with 36 undergraduate degrees, 6 graduate degrees, and 29 minors in Business, Education, Nursing, Criminal Justice, Health Science and more.
